Polling stations in the nine constituencies opened at 07:00 BST and will remain open until 22:00.
There have been several boundary changes nationwide ahead of this election, including in Reading. The area previously covered by the Reading constituency is now within the constituencies of Reading East and Reading West. These will be replaced by Reading Central, Reading West and Mid Berkshire, and Earley and Woodley at the 2024 general election.
Remember, you can only vote at your designated local polling station, which might differ from previous elections.
