This eagerly awaited event marks a significant milestone, as it becomes the first new station to grace the Reading area in over a century since the establishment of Reading West in July 1906. Situated on the Reading to Basingstoke line, the station will operate regular half-hourly services, offering convenient travel options for commuters heading north to Reading or south to Basingstoke throughout the day.
