The Hairy Bikers have been announced for Cornbury Festival, which takes place at The Great Tew Estate, Chipping Norton, in Oxfordshire from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th July 2018.
The cooking duo, Si King and Dave Myers, will be running a pop up wood-fired restaurant at the heart of the festival, cooking and sharing stories for guests throughout. Slots can be booked in advance via the festival website.
Festival organiser Hugh Phillimore commented on the announcement:
“We’ve always prided ourselves on providing a great food offering throughout the festival so we’re obviously thrilled that The Bikers have chosen us to host their world exclusive pop up restaurant.
“If there were any foodies that fitted our particular festival “vibe” it would have to be The Bikers – very English, rather eccentric and particularly delicious.”
The previously confirmed acts include headliners UB40, Alanis Morissette, and Squeeze, plus Caro Emerald, Deacon Blue, Zucchero, Jimmy Cliff, Stereo MC’s, Mavis Staples, Amy MacDonald, Nina Nesbitt, Pixie Lott, PP Arnold, and more, with more to be announced.
