Boomtown festival 2022: Line-up, tickets and everything you need to know

Boomtown festival is back, bigger and better than ever for its 13th anniversary later this month.

The festival will welcome more than 75,000 music fans to its base on the Matterley Estate near Winchester, Hampshire between August 10 and 14.

The festival prides itself on its attitude to sustainability and family-friendly feel, offering family camping and arts and crafts workshops. Its attitude to inclusively has helped it become one of the fastest growing events in the summer calendar.

The Boomtown site also has a great deal for fans to discover over the weekend, with the festival split into 14 separate districts, each offering their own atmosphere.

However, it’s the music that’s set to prove the biggest draw this year.

While Boomtown has developed a reputation for fantastic ska and dub offerings down the years, the event has also welcoming a diverse rock and pop lineup across its 16 stages.

The festival also offers an incredibly comprehensive DJ line-up across the 17 stages.

The full line-up, featuring hundreds of artists over dozens of stages, can now be viewed in the official Woov app for Boomtown.

Tickets and info
Tickets for the event are still on sale and can be purchased here.

Standard weekend tickets are priced at £272.00, plus a £7.50 booking fee.

Gates open at the festival on Wednesday, August 10 at 2pm and close at 9.30pm. Gates are then open from 10am to 9.30pm every day, although fans can leave at any time.

Fans can bring a total of 16 cans of 440ml lager, cider or beer. Alternatively, they can bring a total of 17 cans of 250ml premix spirit drinks, a three litre box of wine or seven litres of cider, lager or beer in plastic bottles or cans.

Travel
Boomtown has teamed up with National Express to provide coach travel to the Hampshire site, with more than 50 pick up locations available for guests to choose from in the UK.

Fans can also travel via National Express from certain locations in France. Return journeys in the UK begin at £29.

Passengers looking to travel by train should head to Winchester train station. There, fans can chose to purchase return passes for the shuttle bus service for £10.

Fans looking to drive to the festival must purchase a car pass when they arrive at the festival site.
