Reading Town Centre 5K | Santa Run | 8th December 2019

1k Mini Santa Run–The fairly level 1k course is ideal for youngsters, adults with babies in buggies, dogs with owners and we especially welcome wheelchair users and encourage all those with disabilities to join in, dress as Santa or Elf and be part of the festive fun!  PLUS you can raise monies for your own particular charities if you wish. By the way Santa or Elf outfits included in the entry fee!

5k Town Centre Santa Run–The annual Reading 5k Charity Santa Run, organised by The Rotary Club of Reading will take place once again in Reading – Sunday 8th December 2019.

Starting at 9.00am. It is open to anyone 10 and over and Santa suits are included in the price.
Great town centre route starting and finishing at the Forbury Gardens and taking in Broad Street, The Oracle shopping centre and Kennet side paths.

The route is all on road or pavements. The route is through the town centre starting and finishing at the Forbury Gardens and taking in Broad Street, The Oracle shopping centre and Kennet side paths, runners should be aware of street furniture and bollards. There are some narrow sections, please show patience when passing through these areas and across the river Kennett Bridge.

‘100% of money raised by runners will go to charities, none on overheads. The majority of funds raised will go to our two main charities, Daisy’s Dream and No. 5. The remainder will be split between other local charities and Rotary Projects to included Reading Samaritans, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Berkshire Vision and CIRDIC.’’
