Remember how a few months ago we dropped the bombshell that Metallica had just been announced as the first headliner for this year’s huge Reading & Leeds festivals? Our hearts were bursting with joy at the news, especially with Mumford & Sons and more recently The Libertines. Well this month the R&L organisers have just let slip even more headline news, with Canadian post-hardcore band Alexonfire.
The joint Reading and Leeds festivals take place this year from the 28th to the 30th of August in (you guessed it) Reading and Leeds, and share the same lineup on what has never failed to be an epic weekend year in and year out.
