Reading Winter Ice is back to Reading. A REAL ice rink is back to Forbury Gardens in what once again will be the centre piece of an exciting programme of festivities in Reading’s town centre.
The ice rink, Reading Winter on Ice, will operate from 18th November December to 1st January and will cap the town centre’s festive programme. The Ice rink has a first session at 10 am and the last session is at 9pm with the event closing at 10pm Daily.
There will be Themed Rides and Attractions, Festival stalls, an array of all your Festive Foods that can be washed down with a seasonal Mulled Wine, a Hot Chocolate or a Bavarian Beer. AND the main attraction as mentioned will be the huge Real Ice Rink (Larger Than Last Years).
Other activities will include a magical Santa’s Grotto, open daily from 19th which finishes on Christmas Eve, Christmas Markets selling all types of Christmas Gifts from Cheese’s, Traditional German Sausages to hats and gloves and all types of special foods basically everything you need for that special Christmas Present, a full licensed bar for those winter warmers, mulled wine and cider. German Sausages, doughnuts, sweets, Alpine noodles, gourmet burgers, crepes.
if that’s not enough reason to come down you’ll find rides for all ages from the 100 foot Northern Star Tower to the Polar Bear Bumper Cars or even have your picture in our purpose built Snow Globe positioned in the Band Stand… what else can you ask!!!
