Reading Pride is an annual celebration of the Thames Valley LGBT community. Now in its 14th year the event will march through Reading town centre on Saturday, August 31 before ending up at the festival in King’s Meadow.
We recommend you come to come over for a day of exciting Parade watching – snacks, refreshments (especially water), suntan lotion, sunglasses, glitter & Reading west will hope to see you there…
Reading Pride was formed in 2003 to represent and support the local LGBT+ community in Reading and the Thames Valley. Since out first festival, attendance has grown steadily year on year with over 10,000 people visiting the event over the course of the day, and growing numbers participating in the parade.
We have been campaigning for equality and diversity for over 14 years. Over the years we have expanded our event to include a parade, and have hosted over 160 performers on our stage including Agnes, N-Trance Jai McDowall, Amanda Wilson, Scooch, Sam Callahan, Booty Luv, Lisa Scott-Lee, Joe and Jake and many more.
Reading Pride is run by dedicated volunteers, and we work throughout the year to create a free event for the community which promotes diversity and inclusion.
Join us for to celebrate the 16th year of Reading Pride!
