As the event heads our way, here are some vital travel updates and information for travelling to the festival
Drivers and walkers have been warned that roads and footpaths will be closed as close to 100,000 music fans arrive in Reading this month.
Around 90,000 people are expected at Reading Festival this year – and We advise those in the area to plan journeys ahead of time.
Roads will be busy throughout the week starting Monday, August 20 but congestion is expected to peak at the start and end of the festival.
The most traffic is expected on Wednesday, August 22 and Thursday, August 23 as campers arrive.
The majority will then leave on Monday, August 27, so traffic will be particularly heavy as the crowds depart.
