Beale Wildlife Park – A Hidden Gem by the River Thames

Published

on

Beale Wildlife Park and Gardens is situated by the River Thames, between the villages of Pangbourne and Lower Basildon in Berkshire, England. It has three main areas of attraction: collections of small exotic animals, farm animals and birds; landscaped gardens and woodlands; and children’s play areas.

Beale Wildlife Park was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale who created the Child Beale Trust, a charitable organisation, dedicated to the care and conservation of rare and endangered animals and birds.

A hidden gem, “We visited with my daughters and her freind aged 8.
We had an absolutely lovely day. Plenty to see and do, animals, statues, various parks and play areas and a splash pool.
You get a train ticket on way in which allows you one free train ride.
The park was exceptionally clean and tidy. Friendly staff.
The restaurant produced freshly cooked food at very good prices and it looked really good.
All 4 children had a great time, which was brilliant as with such a big age difference it’s quite hard to find things that will interest all of them.
Very well priced for what you get and for the amount of time spent there.
Will definitely be visiting again.”
